Venetian plaster is suitable for use on walls and ceilings including curved surfaces such as archways and columns. Venetian plaster can resemble the appearance of marble and can be applied either smooth or with a slight texture. Our pastellone is made stronger by adding cement and binders. The finish adheres best to a porous substrate and can be installed over correctly prepared plasterboard brick cement board concrete and concrete blocks.

It is used to impart a natural or rustic feeling to verandas kitchens or hallways to go with stone or brick flooring. Venetian plaster sometimes known as lime plaster is essentially a putty made from fired limestone or marble dust mixed with water. As the surface is burnished after application it develops a finish that has the look of genuine marble.
